One room, two configurations, two hundred guests and a cocktail hour that could not run a minute long because the band had a curfew. The flip was rehearsed twice on the Friday with the venue crew, timed with a stopwatch, and came in at nine minutes on the day.
Winter in Charleston is the honest season for a room like this, and the light through those windows at four in the afternoon is the reason we push people toward January.
