The brief was a dinner party that happened to have a ceremony in it. No stage, no band, no dance floor, and nothing that plugged in where a guest could see it.
We ran four hundred tapers and a string of festoons off a generator two doors down, with a cable run signed off by the fire marshal in March. The whole event was three hours long and people still talk about it.
