A Friday welcome supper, a Saturday ceremony and a Sunday breakfast, all on one farm with one road in. The logistics were the design: where the buses turned around, where the caterer plated, which gate the band loaded through.
It rained from noon until four. We made the call at twelve, told everyone once, moved the ceremony under the pecans and never mentioned it again. Most of the guests found out afterward that there had been a plan A.
